Ian Madlutk Graduating from Guam Community College

Cabras Marine Corporation’s (CMC) very own, Ian K. Madlutk, successfully graduated from Guam Community College (GCC) receiving a Journey Worker Certificate: Pipefitter, Ship & Boat. Ian started off as an Apprentice for CMC’s Ship Repair department and immediately showcased his strong work ethic & perseverance. Ian was excited to join CMC’s Apprenticeship Program and took advantage of this unique opportunity in developing his skillset in pipefitting. Upon receiving his Pipefitter Certificate from GCC, Ian is now a full fledged Pipefitter Journey Worker at CMC. Over the course of the years, Ian worked with various other journey workers at CMC and quickly developed his skills to perform at a high level even prior to receiving his certificate. Ian has a bright future at CMC due to his strive and hunger to continue developing his skillset and chasing opportunities that are made available to him. CMC is proud to see Ian accomplish a milestone in his life and solidify his future with the company. Ian is the perfect example of CMC’s Apprenticeship Program being brought to fruition. CMC’s vision in the Apprenticeship Program is to provide opportunities for the local population to achieve their optimal potential by developing a unique skillset for a growing market on island.

Again, CMC is extremely proud for Ian and his accomplishment. We are pleased to add in Ian as an additional skilled worker to our ever-growing Ship Repair & Maintenance workforce. We are excited to see what the future holds for Ian as well as future graduates in our Apprenticeship Program.
