PACSEA marine personnel are fortunate and excited to go through their Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) training with the Mid-Atlantic Maritime Academy (MAMA). This training is also commonly referred to as the “Six-Pack” or “Charterboat Captain’s License”. Essentially, this training provides an entry level license and potential for upward mobility for personnel to become certified as commercial vessel operators. Training time in total for completion is 60 hours. These types of marine certifying trainings are crucial for Cabras Marine Corporation’s (CMC) goal to ensure our personnel are qualified in their respective fields of operations.
PACSEA personnel also conducted training on the launching and recovery of the Naval Base Guam’s (NBG) Harbor Security Boats. PACSEA ensures that our personnel are qualified and experienced in handling U.S. Navy assets with utmost care.
