This past week, Cabras Marine held its first annual “Leadership Development Training” for all junior and senior level managers. Every leader in the organization had the opportunity to attend and learn the difference between being a manager and being an effective leader. The training was led by Mr. David Okada, Lt Colonel (Ret.), US Army, who’s experience in developing leaders stem from his extensive career in various roles in the military and at University of Guam to include training and developing future military leaders and students in the University’s ROTC Program.
Mr. Okada taught our leaders of Cabras Marine the tools to help foster a positive and productive work environment to include how to be an effective communicator, how to de-escalate work conflict, how to motivate employees and instill the company values of integrity, teamwork, accountability, trust, efficiency, respect, and innovation in all our employees. We appreciate the time and commitment that Mr. Okada afforded us, and his presentation and collaboration was well received by all of our leaders.
