Oil Spill Response Operations Company (OSROCo) hosted its 2023 Annual First Responders Oil Spill Response Training as scheduled below.
Guam: January 9-11, 2023 (Mon-Wed) Location: CMC Training Center, Piti (see attached).
Saipan: January 12-13, 2024 (Thurs-Fri) Location at our OSROCO, Lower Base WH.
OSROCo extended an invitation to each of its clients, Stakeholders and members: Port of Guam, Port Police, Guam Environmental Protection Agency, Guam Division of Aquatic & Wildlife Resources, USCG Sector Guam / Saipan, Commonwealth Utilities Corporation, Port of Saipan, and Saipan Division of Environmental Quality – Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality, to have up to 2 of their respective personnel attend this training.
This course involved classroom time, a spill scenario, on water containment and recovery, and shoreline protection. All attendees received certified spill response cards upon completion of training.
OSROCo extends its appreciation to Mr. Bill Tageson for his leadership throughout this First Responder Operations Level training course.
