CMC/GCC Ship Repair Boot Camp IV Completion Ceremony

Cabras Marine Corporation (CMC), in conjunction with Guam Community College (GCC), successfully completed the fourth installment of the Ship Repair Transportation Boot Camp with a graduating total of 16 students. On Tuesday, September 7th, a completion ceremony was held at GCC for the graduating candidates whom are all now employed at CMC as Apprentices. Due to recent restrictions enforced by the Governor of Guam, a virtual ceremony was held with limited capacity of in-person attendees.

Congratulations to our 16 graduates as they embark on an exciting journey as apprentices for CMC’s ship repair department. The 12-weeks of hard work has paid off and must continue. Along with the specific trades, participants received soft skills training in Work Ethic, Work Keys (National Career Readiness Certificate), OSHA-10 and Heart Savers First Aid, CPR/AED. CMC is optimistic and will work closely to mentor and provide further opportunities for this batch of apprentices – Derin Aguon, Zeriah Blas, Nathin Borja, Collin Dre Borja, Zildjian Camat, Daniel Charfauros, Jayce Concepcion, Tristian Diaz, Joevin Fernandez, Frederick Fernandez, Darrell Gose Jr., Kyle Gumataotao, Johnovin Manibusan, Kody Quidachay, Ron Shimizu, and Micah Tobias.
