Cabras Marine Corporation (CMC), in conjunction with Guam Community College (GCC), successfully completed the third installment of the Ship Repair Transportation Boot Camp with a graduating total of 18 students. On Friday, February 19th, a completion ceremony was held at GCC for the graduating candidates whom are all now employed at CMC as Apprentices.
CMC would like to thank our keynote speakers and key leadership for attending and acknowledging the hard work endeavored by our 18 graduates – Our Maga’håga (Governor) Lou Leon Guerrero, Our Sigundo Maga’låhi (Lt. Governor) Josh Tenorio, Captain Jeff Grimes (Naval Base Guam), Dr. Mary Okada (GCC President), Joe Cruz (CMC President), and Wayne Bigler (CMC HR Director).
Congratulations to our 18 graduates as they embark on an exciting journey as newly appointed CMC apprentices. The 12-weeks of hard work has paid off and must continue. CMC is optimistic and will work closely to mentor and provide further opportunities for this batch of apprentices – Joseph Aguon, Xavier Anderson, Robby Blas, Richo Cruz, Samuel Cruz, Isabella Guiterrez, Joel Guzman, Skyler Lujan, Gary Manibusan, Jose Naputi, Carmelo Nauta, Re Onopey, Roman Quinata, Joshua Relativo, Brandon Santiago, Jazzy Saroff, Xavier Torres, and Shane Torres.
