Cabras Marine Corporation (CMC) and its affiliate employees recently participated and successfully completed the DDE 1000/4000 Horsepower Course conducted by Mid-Atlantic Maritime Academy (MAMA) Trains. The 160 course was held from June 20 – July 8, 2016 at our OSRO Facility and conducted by Instructor Ray Blanchet. Applicants who successfully complete the Designated Duty Engineer (DDE) 1000/4000 Horsepower (MARUNI-156) course within 1 year of application will satisfy the professional examination requirements of 46 CFR 11.903(a)(34) for national officer endorsement as Designated Duty Engineer Less Than 4,000 HP Motor.
