On Oct. 12, 2013, Cabras Marine Corporation was awarded the Navy Ship Repair Facility (SRF) Contract for Guam. The SRF contract is for a one year base period with four additional one year options and total value is approximately $77 Million. CMC is dedicated to revitalizing ship repair as one of the major industries on Guam. Integral to this goal is CMC’s determination to develop a sustainable local work force through programs such as the Marine Transportation and Ship Repair Apprenticeship Program. CMC has teamed with Ambyth Shipping/SeaFix, Gulf Copper, and NASSCO (subsidiary of General Dynamics) to execute the SRF contract.
