Commitment to Safety

Safety of people, equipment, and the environment are paramount for all of our operational efforts. Safety of people, equipment and the environment are cornerstones of CMC’s operation and is monitored and maintained to the highest level. Our extensive insurance coverage assures the safety of all assets, personnel, and the environment. Our employee’s safety on and off our marine vessels and all those whom we perform business ventures with is a top priority. We ensure safety at sea and avoidance of damage to the environment, in particular to the marine environment. We strive to continuously improve safety-management skills of personnel ashore and aboard ships, including preparing for emergencies related both to safety and environmental protection. By properly training our personnel under experienced leaders, we form a sense of familiarity when our personnel are operating vessels and equipment. Our continuous preventative maintenance schedule is what keeps are vessels in top shape and available to operate 24/7. Our PACDIM facility is fully secured and a Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential (TWIC) program is required to prevent unauthorized entries. Whenever there is ongoing operation at PACDIM, our Safety Team is onsite to monitor operations to ensure we are in accordance with up to date safety rules and regulations.

We are ISO 9001-2015 (Quality Management System) certified. Our Safety Management System maintains the safety of vessel operations in accordance with our ISM Classification Societies: RINA, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and Bureau Veritas (BV).
